If you accept check payments, then keep an updated log for easy recording. Unlike cash payments, check payments still need to go through a process before they can be converted into cash. Sometimes, clients would pay you checks that bounce back due to lack of funds in the depositor’s accounts. To know which check bounced and who to talk to about it, check your log.
