This book presents information designed to help the business manager or technical professional to estimate the annual costs of a variety of air pollution equipment. Equipment covered includes wet scrubbers, carbon adsorbers and other “add-on” devices. It also deals with non-stack controls, such as wet dust suppression systems, and flue gas desulphurization systems. Costs are presented in dollars (1988 or 1989 prices). Several detailed example problems are included to illustrate the sizing and cost procedures.
