It aims to enable a foreign lawyer to gain a general understanding of the legal environment affecting securities, to perceive the types of questions which need to be addressed, to talk intelligently with his or her clients concerning these questions and the need for foreign legal advice and assistance, and to interact effectively with foreign counsel.
