Description
Between November 1998 and September 2000, Michael Gilding interviewed 50 individuals drawn from the “Business Review Weekly” rich lists. Gilding went to the interviews with several burning questions on his mind: who were the “super-rich”?; how did they amass their fortunes?; and how did their wealth affect their relationships with others and society in general? The answers, Gilding discovered, were sometimes predictable, sometimes surprising and as the interviews progressed, he was able to uncover the themes and trends that link the wealthy and the factors that contribute to success. The result is this book about a subject often taboo in society – the personal and professional secrets of the “super-rich”.
