ALICIA E. KAUFMANN is Professor of Sociology of Organizations at Universidad de Alcal de Henares. She also holds a doctor’s degree in Sociology from cole des Hautes tudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris and Universidad Complutense in Madrid. She is currently Academic Director at Alcal de Henares and also teaches at Instituto de Empresa. She was a Fulbright scholar twice, once at Yale University and once at the University of Salzburg, where she specialized in leadership issues. She is also an active member of FEDEPE, a federation of women in business.
